Hotel Della Piccola Marina - Capri

Inconsistent air conditioning caused discomfort, disappointed with partial sea view room despite expectations!!! Slow Wi-Fi in rooms, inadequate bathroom amenities, and cleanliness issues could use serious improvements!!!

The staff was incredible and the location was fantastic, right between the beach and the main shopping square. 454 stairs down to the beach or 1/4 mile to the main shopping and dining center. The rooms were very clean, the pool is small but nice and private. Breakfast is basic European and the pool snack bar has a nice small collection of salads, sandwiches, and bruschettas. No dinner restaurant on premisis but you want to walk to the main shopping / dining area for dinner anyway....amazing selection of wonderful restaurants with incredible views. The hotel staff was incredibly accommodating when we brought back pizza diner to the room; they happily delivered all the napkins and utensils. Be aware- when arriving at the port do not use the port transfer service to get to the hotel, arrange a taxi who will take you to the top of the street right by the hotel, call the hotel and they will send up their baggage service to pick you up at the top of the street. You will save a lot of time and money and the taxis are metered with only an additional small flat charge for each bag. We would certainly stay ay Hotel Piccola Marina again!

The bathroom was wonderful and the staff was really helpful.

the room had a small balcony that didn’t quite offer great views. the swimming pool was refreshing and perfect for hot days. breakfast had a good variety. the staff arranged our boat trip on short notice.

Hotel della piccola marina is a very nice hotel to stay in during your stay in capri , the best thing about it , its location which is near from everything , beach shopping area , restaurants and night life , train station , taxi station , bus station besides it has its own swimming pool with a lovely view on the sea and the mountains. I really recomend it .

Staff were amazing, pool and breakfast lovely. Room super clean and god size (had a balcony). Close to main square in Capri and small beaches of Marina Piccola. Eat in the restaurant with al the tables up on the rocky outcrop.

Our large suite was spacious for our family and perfect for the kids to play around while we relaxed.

In my wife's opinion, they could use more family-friendly amenities.

Location - very close to bus stop

Breakfast was poor for a 4* hotel: no vegetables,, the coffee was awful (regular one, not expresso). Rooms: were smelly and humid; the towels were old and ripped; the rooms definetely need to be renovated; This is not a 4* hotel at all!

great stay but expensive

The location made exploring shops and cafes easy. The spacious room provided a fantastic view of the pool and sea, a highlight of our stay. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of options that were enjoyable.

The overall cost felt a bit high considering the amenities provided.

definitely want to stay in that area again

We stayed for 3 nights in a large suite with a sea view and terrace. The room had air conditioning, a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries, and a spacious terrace overlooking the sea-such a fine view! The pool area was beautifully maintained with sun loungers and a relaxing atmosphere. The spa offered massage and beauty services that were fantastic. Super nice team, arranged activities at short notice. Breakfast included freshly baked options and local specialties, all enjoyed with amazing views.

The suite I stayed in was elegant and immaculate with a view. A private safe, a mini bar and central heating were a bonus. The pool was incredible and I had good drinks in the outdoor bar. The location was great and stunning, not too far from botanical gardens. The hotel was in a great area, really close to about a 15 minute hike down to the water, the marina and the beautiful island.

The hotel is nice and relaxing, close to the center but the beakfast is poor.Whish its could be more facilities in there. Staff was friendy and helpful.

The garden, many trees and flouwers. So naturale.

Charming Escape with Room for Improvement

Enjoyed a lovely stay with fine views and a friendly team. The breakfast was good, with fresh options daily. The upkeep needs attention, maintenance issues detracted from the experience. Tip, Exploring the local area is enjoyable, but be prepared for hilly walks.

The breakfast was outstanding and great, we truly enjoyed plenty of meals. Exceptional service and the food is delicious.
